On Tuesday evening, December 31, 2024, the Regiobank-Sylvesterloop will take place in Elsloo for the 41st time. This popular classic, organized by the Hardloopvrienden Elsloo association, is the very last running event of the year in the Netherlands and the only race that is entirely run under artificial lighting. The unique atmosphere on New Year's Eve in the heart of Elsloo makes this race a true community event with nearly 41 years of tradition.
